If you’re tired of listening to the same old FM radio stations during your daily commute, it might be time to switch to XM satellite radio. But, what if you don’t want to pay the monthly subscription fees? The good news is that there is a free, quick, and easy way to get XM satellite radio in your vehicle.
All you need to do is go to your search engine on your computer, tablet, or smartphone and search for “Free Three Months XM Radio.” The first link will take you to the SiriusXM website, where you can sign up for a free trial. They’ll ask for your radio ID number, which you can find in your car.
To get your radio ID number, simply press the XM button on your car’s dashboard. By default, it will say “XM Preview.” Go back to channel 0, and you’ll find your radio code. Once you have your radio ID number, go back to the SiriusXM website and enter your information.
You can make up any name and email address, but make sure you use a real street address. You can redo this every three months, and they don’t check if the information is correct. After you’ve entered your information, they’ll send a signal to your car, and you’ll have to wait up to five minutes for it to activate.
