How to Force Change Your Comcast IP

If you’re one of those people who use Comcast and don’t know how to change your IP, you’re not alone. But don’t worry, it’s not as difficult as you might think. In this blog post, we’ll show you exactly how to do it.

First, you need to go to 10.0.0.1 and log in using “admin” for the username and password. Once you’re logged in, you’ll see an option to “Enable Bridge Mode”. Click on this option and then click “OK” when prompted.

Enabling Bridge Mode disables your wireless feature on the box. This allows you to only use the box as a modem and use a separate router as a normal router. This is what allows you to change your IP.

Once you have enabled Bridge Mode, you will need to go to your router settings. The exact settings will depend on your router, so you’ll need to look this up. Once you’re in your router settings, you’ll need to find an option that says something like “Mac Clone” or “MAC Address”. This is where you can change your MAC address.

To change your MAC address, you’ll need to change the last two characters to a letter from A through F and a number from 1 through 8. Once you’ve made this change, click “Apply” or “Save” and you’re done!

As you can see, changing your Comcast IP is a relatively simple process. Just make sure you go to 10.0.0.1, enable Bridge Mode, and then configure your router with the modem. Finally, find the option to change your MAC address and change the last two characters.
