How to Find Your iPad Model Number

If you’re unsure of which model or generation your iPad is, don’t worry – it’s easy to identify. There are two ways to do this, and we’ll go through both of them below.

The first and easiest way is to turn on your iPad and go to Settings. From there, select General and then About. You should see the model name, such as “iPad Air 5th Generation,” right at the top.

But what if your screen doesn’t turn on? No problem – you can still find the model information on the back of your iPad. Look for the text “iPad Air,” which will tell you the model. Next, find the model number, which will be a code such as “A2882588.” It may be small, but it should be visible.

Once you have your model number, simply go to any device with internet access and search for it on Google. Alternatively, you can go to support.apple.com and browse through the different models of iPads. For example, if you have an iPad Air, scroll down until you see the iPad Air section and then look through the model numbers until you find yours.

Thanks for reading – we hope this was useful in helping you identify your iPad model number!
