If you accidentally deleted a file on your Windows computer, don’t fret! In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to restore deleted files from your recycling bin.
First, locate the recycling bin icon on your desktop and double click on it. If you’re on Windows 7 or 8, the icon may look a little different, but the steps are the same. Once you’ve located the file you want to restore, you can search by date deleted to find the most recently deleted files. To restore the file, simply right-click on it and then left-click on “restore”. You’ll see two options – “continue” to restore it back to its original location, or “restore to” to choose a new location.
If you don’t have the recycling bin icon on your desktop, don’t worry. You can easily add it back by opening the start menu and typing in “settings”. Then, go to “personalization” and click on “themes”. Scroll down until you see “desktop icon settings” and make sure the recycling bin is checked. Click “apply” and “okay”, and the recycling bin icon should now be visible on your desktop.
That’s it! You can now easily restore deleted files from your recycling bin. We hope this tutorial was helpful and we’ll see you in the next one.
