AP isolation is a security feature that prevents devices connected to the same network from communicating with each other. In this blog post, we will guide you on how to disable AP isolation in your TP-Link router.

First, open your Google Chrome browser and enter “192.168.0.1” in the address bar. This is the configuration site of the TP-Link router. If you are using a different Wi-Fi router, check the back or front side of the router for the link, username, and password. Alternatively, you can Google it or contact the Wi-Fi router company.

After entering the TP-Link configuration site, go to the advanced settings and select the wireless option. Under the wireless option, click on advanced settings and look for the AP isolation option. To disable it, uncheck the enable option for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, depending on the Wi-Fi network you are using. Click save to apply the changes.

Once you have disabled AP isolation, you can easily connect your Google Nest Mini or other Google-based smart devices to your Wi-Fi network without any connection-related issues.

In conclusion, disabling AP isolation in your TP-Link router is an easy process. Similarly, other Wi-Fi routers will have similar settings to disable AP isolation. By following the steps mentioned above, you can quickly resolve the AP isolation error and enjoy seamless connectivity with your smart devices.
