How to Connect Bluetooth Speaker to Monitor

Are you tired of listening to the audio from your TV or monitor’s built-in speakers? Do you have a Bluetooth speaker that you would like to use instead? In this tutorial, we will show you how to connect an external Bluetooth speaker to your TV or monitor.

Firstly, make sure that your TV or monitor supports external Bluetooth speaker connection. For this demonstration, we will be using a Samsung KU6400 or Sennheiser 7000 model.

Turn on your Bluetooth speaker and place it anywhere you want. We will be using the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 3 for this tutorial. Then, grab your TV or monitor’s remote and go to the settings tab.

Next, go to the sound settings and select your speaker output. In our instance, we were given three options – TV speakers, Bluetooth audio, or optical out. We selected Bluetooth audio.

Your TV or monitor will now scan for external Bluetooth speakers. To put the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 3 in scan mode, press and hold the Bluetooth icon on the speaker. It will make a sound, and the speaker will appear on the TV. It may say “needs clearing,” so click on pair and connect with it.

The TV will shortly connect with the Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 3, and you can test the audio to make sure it is coming out of the speaker. Just exit the settings menu and play any audio or video to test it.

That’s it! You have now successfully connected your TV or monitor with an external Bluetooth speaker. With this particular model, you can even pair this speaker with another Onyx Studio 3 speaker to have a stereo image. However, it is not required as this speaker produces excellent stereo image quality on its own.

We hope you found this tutorial helpful and were able to connect your Bluetooth speaker without any issues. Keep enjoying your favorite movies and shows with high-quality audio!
