Are you tired of paying for your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription? Maybe you no longer use it as much as you used to, or maybe you just want to save some money. Whatever the reason, canceling your subscription is easy to do right from your Xbox console.
First, press the Xbox button on your controller and open the side menu. Then, press R1 and tab over to your profile and system tab. From there, go down to settings and type in your passkey (if you have one). On the left-hand side, go down to account and then over to subscriptions. Select “A” on this and type in your passkey again (if you have one).
Find your active subscription, which should be listed under “Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.” You’ll be able to see when it expires and when you were last charged on your credit card. Click on this subscription and select “View and Manage Subscriptions.” This will take you to Microsoft.com and load you into your profile.
Once the page is fully loaded, you should be able to see an option to manage and cancel your subscription. Click on this and select “Cancel Subscription.” A little dropdown window will appear, and you’ll be given a date that will be the last day you’ll be charged.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and go to “Turn Off Recurring Payments.” Once you’ve turned that off, go back to the “Services and Subscriptions” page and verify that it says “Turn on Recurring Billing” now.
And that’s it! Canceling your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is a breeze. By following these simple steps, you’ll prevent yourself from being charged without realizing it. No more unnecessary fees on your credit card!
