If you want to talk to your PS4 and PS5 friends without remote play and without owning a console, you can do it on your PC. All you need is an Android emulator, which can be easily obtained from a website called bluestacks.com.
Once you’re on the website, click on “see all versions” on the home page. Scroll down and download the pi 64-bit beta version because the nuget 64-bit or 32-bit versions don’t work.
After downloading the emulator, click launch. It will bring up a virtual phone on your computer. Install the PlayStation app on the emulator’s phone to connect your existing microphones and headphones on your computer.
You can then talk to your friends through the phone on your computer while playing PC games. To do this, double-click on the PS app to bring up the PlayStation app, which allows you to talk to your friends.
Before it works, click on the settings wheel and go to the audio tab. Select what you want it to output to and choose your microphone. Hit save changes, and you can join a party chat with your friends.
