TikTok has taken the world by storm, and it’s no secret that music is an integral part of the platform’s success. In this post, we’ll show you three different ways to add music to your TikTok videos, including how to use TikTok’s library, add your own music, and add copyright-free music using online video editor Veed.
Let’s get started!
Adding Music from TikTok’s Library.
To add music from TikTok’s library, open the app and press the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Then, click “Add Sound” at the top and search for the song you want to use. Tap the song and press the tick. Click the music note again and select the portion of the song you want to use for your TikTok by pushing that track over. Finally, record yourself or upload a video from your camera roll and post it with your caption and hashtags.
Adding Your Own Music.
To add your own music to a TikTok, you’ll need a video with the music you want to upload ready to go. Open the app and click the plus sign at the bottom of the screen. Upload your video, add your caption and hashtags, and post it. Head over to your TikTok page, click on the CD with your picture on it, and click on the pen tool. Name your track and hit “Save.” Make sure you post it publicly so others can use your audio.
Adding Copyright-Free Music Using Veed.
To add copyright-free music using Veed, click the first link in the video description and upload your video. In Veed, click “Audio” and select the genre you want. Choose the music that works best for your TikTok, and it will appear below your video in the timeline. To trim the music, drag it over so it ends in time with the video. If you need to silence your video’s audio, click on the video clip and drag the volume bar all the way over to the left. Export your video and hit “Download” to download the MP4 file.
We hope you found these three ways to add music to your TikTok helpful. With these tips, you can start creating engaging and entertaining TikToks that stand out from the crowd.
