Do you want to change the font in your Photoshop project but can’t find the one you want? Or maybe you’re just looking for new fonts to use in your designs. Whatever the reason, installing new fonts to Photoshop is a simple process that can make a big difference in your final product.
Here’s how it’s done:
1. Find the font you want to use. There are many websites out there that offer free fonts, but one that’s recommended in the video is thefont.com. Once you’ve found the font you want, download it as a zip file to your computer.
2. Unzip the font file. Once the download is complete, unzip the file and you should see a few different font types, such as TTF or OTF. You only need to install one of these.
3. Install the font. Double click on the font file and select “install font.” On Windows, it may appear in the user tab by default.
4. Open Photoshop and select your new font. Once the font is installed, open Photoshop and select the text box that you want to change. Double click on the font name and select your new font from the list.
That’s it! You can now experiment with different fonts to find the one that best suits your project. Remember, font selection is an important part of design, so take your time and find one that you really like.
