Have you ever found your iPhone calendar cluttered with spam-like events that you did not add? You may think that your phone is corrupted, but there’s no need to panic. It’s likely that you visited a website that gave permission for your calendar to be accessed. The good news is that it’s easy to fix.
First, locate the bottom of your calendar section and click on it. You will access a panel that displays your iCloud account and other familiar accounts. If there is an unfamiliar calendar, like a giveaway or spam calendar, simply uncheck it to hide it. For complete removal, click on calendars and select the eye icon. This leads to a panel where you can delete the calendar by clicking the delete calendar option at the bottom of the screen.
It’s important to note that such cluttered calendars do not mean your phone has a virus. Deleting the specific calendar is the easiest way to remove the unwanted events. Additionally, it’s advisable to avoid visiting suspicious websites that might clutter your calendar.
