Are you looking to create outline text in Photoshop? It’s actually a lot easier than you might think! In fact, this tutorial will show you a simple method to achieve this effect that is even easier than other methods you may have seen before.
To begin, create a new file in Photoshop and add a text layer with your desired text. For this example, let’s use the word “Hello”. Next, create a new layer underneath the text layer. This is where our outline will go.
Now, right-click on the text layer and select “Select Pixels”. Then, go to “Select” and choose “Modify”. Here, select “Expand” and choose the number of pixels you want to expand it by. For this tutorial, we will expand it by 10 pixels.
Once you have expanded the selection, choose a color for your outline. For this example, let’s choose red. With the bucket tool, make sure the new layer underneath the text layer is selected and click inside the selection. This will create the outline.
Finally, go to “Select” and choose “Deselect” to remove the selection. And just like that, you have outlined text in Photoshop!
